The World Gets a Dose of Girl Power




Women across the globe marked International Women's Day with marches, demonstrations, and celebrations over the weekend. In France, women hopped on motorcycles to raise awareness on Saturday, while women in Spain and Turkey gathered for organized protests. Meanwhile, Lebanese women spoke out against domestic abuse, female US soldiers attended an event in Afghanistan centered around women's progress, and 10,000 people in the Philippines set the Guinness World Record for the largest human woman symbol.
